November 21, 2021 was a momentous day as Deacon Dennis Rybycki blessed this Crucifix in our Student Center at Catholic Central.  It spans 8’ tall by 6’ wide and embraces our Catholic Central identity.

The original crucifix was created by local artist Kathryn Laffrey and the symbolism of the crucifix reflects the richness of Catholic Central tradition, including the saints associated with each of the four Houses.  To learn more, please click here.

For a limited time only, this 12” acrylic replica of the large crucifix at CC is available to you with a detailed description of all the symbolism related to CC.  All crucifixes will be blessed and can be hung on a wall in your home or displayed in a meaningful place on a stand (stand not included).

The crucifix makes a wonderful gift for upcoming graduation, baptism, first communion, confirmation or wedding.  In addition, purchasing a crucifix also directly benefits families in need. $50 of every $100 crucifix purchase will support the Mind, Body, Spirit Cougar Fund, which assists families with needs beyond tuition assistance.
